Automatic Polymer Preparation Unit is an equipment which can feed and dissolve dry chemical powder, and then produce chemical liquid automatically and continuously.

    Working principle

    The Automatic Polymer Preparation Unit Working Process:

    The chemical dosing system Controlled by the electrical panel, the Powder Dosing system can run in Automatic or manual mode. In Automatic cycle, when the level of the solution is low, and the chemical dosing unit rotary sensor of the powder detect a full hopper, the water solenoid valve is activated and the powder feeding system starts, leading to pre-mixing in a cyclonic movement before entering the first mixing tank.

    The flocculant dosing system tank is divided into three compartment: mixing tank, maturation tank, and service tank. Each one has its own mixing device, to assure total dissolution of the chemical powder.

    The powder dosing system mixers are in continuous stirring action in order to assure the polymer dosing homogenous solution before delivery. The chemical dosing or polymer pumping system is easily connected to the chemical dosing unit, with special protection from dry run. The polymer dosing system provided continuous ready solution.

    It is safe, convenient, reliable and has a wide range of applications. It is especially suitable for papermaking industry, industrial wastewater treatment and municipal wastewater treatment plants, waterworks and Industries requiring the use of flocculant solution.

    Feature

    1. Continuous preparation of three tanks (mixing tank, equalizing tank and storage tank) is easy to operate and maintain with the lowest manpower cost.

    2. Uniform and moderate formulation concentration can reduce the occurrence of granulation (block) caused by improper manpower allocation, avoid pipeline or pump blockage, and increase unnecessary personnel maintenance costs and powder expenditure.

    3. The equipment is controlled by PLC in the whole preparation process. It can automatically intermittent, continuous operation and stop cross stirring function to make solution fusion uniform.

    Applications

    Prepared polymers are used to achieve coagulation and flocculation as a means to particle removal in both drinking water and waste water treatment.
    Also, polymers are instrumental in efficient sludge dewatering applications.
